Detroit Metro - Talk and Web at same time?

I'm in the Detroit Metro area, no 4G still( grrrrrrr ) using a Motorola Photon ( non rooted, stock rom, nothing fancy loaded )

Been on a conference call for work for the better part of 2 hours now, and needed to check on some hotel reservations....

It works? I am listening to the conference and surfing the web at the same time - Is this because I am using my Wifi instead of 3G?


I was not aware this was possible on the Sprint Network, I thought just ATT allowed this.

You can talk and surf on wifi and 4g data connection. Not on 3g.....

Same here, I can talk and surf the web on wifi and 4g only. 3G does not allow me to surf and talk at the same time. (Sprint, California)
