Cursor placement on Photon

On my Evo, I could touch and hold in a text field and get a little magnifying glass to move the cursor where I wanted. The Photon doesn't appear to have that feature, but I thought this was a feature of Gingerbread?

If you want the cursor only, just tap where you want it.

Yeah, it is on ios, but the Evo also had it. Darn. I miss it.

Yeah, that's a feature I also miss from Sense. But u can move the cursor around by tapping on the word, just without the magnifying glass. The paid gingerbread keyboard has a nice feature. where u swype up on the space bar and it gives u cursor arrows.

Doesn't have what? The magnifying glass? Then he has to be running a different rom, cuz all stock Evos have this feature. In fact, all HTC phones running Sense on Froyo and above probably have it.

Nope stock rom 2.3 my dads is stock as well and doesn't have

Maybe not in certain apps but they should in native ones, but keep telling urself that and try to finish ur sentences.

Wife's stock evolution has it. Mine did not though. Hers was replaced this summer with the newest update already on it.
