4G Wifi tethering

I'm getting my mopho tonight and can't even wait. I plan on rooting, and I wanted to know if i can tether using 4g or only 3g? What's the best app for tethering?

Rooting the photon is easy using the one click method I used but my tether does not work. If IM not mistaken it does not have the correct kernel. To flash a different kernel you have to unlock the boot loader. IM not prepared to do that as of yet. Anyone else have a different experience?

Same boat ...rooting is too easy but yet no wifi tethering ...lame. This makes miss my Evo and Nexus S!

What are the problems you're having? Is it not connecting or is the tether app not working?

Wifi tether works for me. works for 4g too. I use it to get sling box on my galaxy tab all the time. you need to change the some settings

Device profile to Samsung Galaxy S
and change Setup-Method to Netd

that should get you rolling
