Syncing Facebook contacts

Hey all,
I've been trying to sync my fb contacts to my phone, and it isn't syncing them at all. I tried the steps outlined in the introduction/review thread, i.e. home>settings>accounts> I can see the fb, gmail yahoo accounts that I have. But, while the yahoo/gmail accounts give me the option to sync contacts the fb account only gives me the user id/password boxes and no option to sync contacts.

Also, I noticed that adding my fb account using the add account button links it to motoblur's social networking app. But if i download fb for android from the market and login, I see another option on the "Add accounts" page. I'm not sure how redundant that is. I've logged in to both, but it doesn't seem to sync my fb contacts - I can see their websites/profiles, but not their phone numbers, which I know are on fb.

The phone numbers will only sync if your Facebook friends have shared them, also if you go into your contacts app > views you can set what contacts you see.
