Re: It's official; the Photon 4G is getting ICS
I thought the exact same thing as you, but then I read the latest Skype update. It just enabled video calling for the Samsung Epic 4G Touch. When Motorola releases an update, it's normally very stable. Besides, a lot of programs are still working out the bugs on making their apps stable for Android 4.0.... Q2 would have been better though =D

I'm certainly willing to wait. Of course, CM9 may be out and fully functional before the July-Sept 3rd Quarter time frame!

Re: It's official; the Photon 4G is getting ICS
I really like the ICS implementation of it. It's there but 'out of the way' in my opinion. I have tried some of the custom ROMs with the ICS build and it really is nice. I just wish the official ICS update wouldn't be so far out in the future from Motorola....
But I like it a lot.-MoPho 4g

Good news is its in development phase, not evaluation... Apparently they've decided it will work with our phones. I'm stuck with my photon til november of next year, so...

Re: It's official; the Photon 4G is getting ICS
Its been official, except now Motorola changed it from Q3 to Q4.
As much as I like my Photon and want to wait for the next Photon LTE, Moto is way too slow with updates, HTC is about the only one that can be trusted and really seems to care about their customers. I may end up getting the EVO LTE. - 05-24-2012, 09:34 AM #18
