Ok so I wanted to know if the photon 4g was gonna get it and it is I asked Motorola and dey it's continue in da 3qt I have no problem waiting cause unlocking da bootloader is a hassle

Yes, Motorola released a roadmap of all the phones that will get ICS and in what quarter. Photon's set for Q3!

unlocking the bootloader was pretty easy for me, an im def not a computer guy. there are plenty of vids on youtube with a step by step, look for qbking77.

why wait for q3 when there is a pretty stable cm9 over at xda. ive been running it for a couple of months with no "big" issues

No. Many are also reporting no GSM with the latest release, and netflix doesn't work. Anything that requires video right now is a hit or miss. Although it is greatly improving.
