Photon Video Recording Stutters/Pauses?

Hi All,

When I record video on my Photon, the video stutters/pauses during recording. The pauses are evident when I go to playback the video, but oddly enough, the audio never pauses, just the video.

Anyone have similar issues? What was done to resolve it?

Yes, and I had the same problem. I would be interested as well on how to resolve.

I have not seen this specific issue with my Photon. I can tell you I had a similar issue with my EVO, and the solution was to upgrade the SD card. The stock card was not very fast (Class 2 I believe). I upgraded to a Class 6 and that improved video record/playback performance.

Of course, the Photon can store on either the SD card or the internal memory (under the camera's settings menu). I suppose if you are storing in internal memory, the SD class shouldn't matter. Just something to check.
