The Photon Q looks lame. I wouldn't be surprised if nothing else is released by Motorola on Sprint for another year or so.

I honestly cant remember the site but it said that moto and sprint are severing ties at beginning of 2nd quarter next yr..and so will i..why get rid of something that has tge best radios on crappy service

yeah im switching to galaxy s3, radios are gonna suck but im in a very good service area, plus it will only be $50

i hope motorola suprises us all

Yeah i agree. If a slider is the next version of this phone i'll ditch motorola and go Sammy. Also if the next versions ex out the docking stations and lapdock i'll be totally pizzed!! Those are some of the main reasons i like this phone. MOTO!!!!!! NO SLIDER!!!!

motorola of all people should have put the razr maxx type battery in the phone.

Well in my book radios are and should be tops on any phone. So this comment is kinda like a double negative. I like this phone alot due to the radios and docks. Why have a phone thats all flashy and you cant get a signal. And talk about suck azz phone.....hows that great 1gig internal memory on the lame 3D Evo!?! Oh.....did they ever fix the crappy call quality (radios)!?!

Is the slider really that much of a deal breaker for all of you? That's moto's thing... Look at d1-4 on vzw... (which btw, I've personally seen motorola docks for the d2 and 3, so don't think they won't for the q)

Moto cut ties with sprint... Hilarious. Who made all those 2 way phones for sprint? Oh, until kyocera, it was all moto.

Good radios you say? I get service almost literally everywhere. Can't say the same for my samsung phone I refuse to use anymore. Moto honestly builds a decent quality phone, unlike samsung, apple, htc.

I had 2, evo shifts, shattered the screens on both on the first accidental drop. Have a nexus s, which feels like crap compared to my moto. actually, go youtube sgs3 vs iphone drop test. Theres samsung for you.

After countless falls in the months I've had my photon, it took a 80+ foot fall to finally crack my screen, which now has a hairline crack. A single crack. Try that with any other phone (except the lg optimus s... I'm sure that phone is indestructible... I still have mine and it's been target of a lot of anger and a lot of fastball like throws at brick walls...)

...after overclocking to 1200mhz and romming it, it worked wonderfully - surpassed the evo in benchmarks.

Doesn't matter what motor and Sprint do. You have the phone that wont change. Like now for some reason I am able to get solid 4G were I never could yet Sprint is leaving it for lte. Enjoy we might even get ICS.

I've actually had no problems at all with my phone. Never get any dropped called I get good signal mostly anywhere I go. And I have like 6 SD cards 4 of which are 32gb

I was told by a tech that the Motorola Photon Q will be coming out soon. I am waiting for a replacement for my Samsung Epic because I want a Slide Out and I know a few techs, we will see the Photon Q soon, but I am as impatient as everyone else.
