It's coming... It wouldn't be in the phase it is in if it weren't.
Ics is going to run nice, but without the nfc, what really is the point, other than a blurred ics?

Re: Ics when
multi-tasking and more convenient navigation in general
better integration of contacts, etc. with other stuff
finer control over data used by applications
better notifications
more lock-screen functionality
more integrated calendar
the moto version of tasker, which sounds better than tasker
Mostly, I am hoping to recover some of the intuitiveness of operation that I lost when I gave up my WebOS device. Yes, that was laggy as all get out, but I didn't run around in circles clicking stuff over and over, and retyping addresses like I seem to do in Android. With leadership from the WebOS team helping out with ICS, I expect a better user experience.
I'm just as happy not to have nfc, honestly. I don't want my credit card info too easy to hack. - 08-04-2012, 12:00 PM #14
I have no problem multi tasking as it is... But that's just me... I long press home a lot though...
Navigation works perfect for me, I use it a lot for work.
I do look forward to it but I'm not pressed on needing it... But then again, I have a nexus s with ics so...

the feature I miss most from the pre is the ability to have several emails open at the same time. I would flip back and forth between cards to copy and paste addresses, or whatever.
Maybe I have to wait for key line pie our longer to get that back.
Multitasking in android sucks. How can you even call a system multitasking if it will shut down apps without even notifying you? - 08-06-2012, 09:58 AM #16
Nothing shuts down for me... Typically.
