So, I had a customer bring in their Motorola Photon, not rooted as far as I can tell. Basically the phone just randomly decides to reset to a specific date back in August. I thought I'd just hard reset it, and it would be problem solved. Surprise, surprise it won't hard reset. When I boot into android recovery and select wipe data then wipe cache, it does it like normal, but then when it boots up it didn't hard reset. I also tried doing it through the menu on the phone, but even then it doesn't hard reset. I'm baffled...can someone help?

Crazy. Did you post over at XDA? sounds like something a Dev may know more about...
