isnt it already a wimax enabled phone?

    from the review I read:

The Motorola PHOTON 4G is a phone of many firsts. It is the first high-end Motorola smartphone to grace Sprint's network in longer than one would care to remember. It is the first 4G WiMAX phone produced by Motorola. And it is the first WiMAX-equipped phone from Sprint that features global GSM roaming.

You misunderstood what I was getting at. Seeing as Sprint is not going to use WiMax anymore, this might be a way for those phones with WiMax to continue using it.

Ahhh... I get you, my apologies.

90$ for the unit but it is a reasonable price for the data...
