Re: Photon Support Group For Palm webOS Users
Yes, I liked flight predictor (I think that was the name.) It only did US flights, but it would tell you whether the equipment for your flight was on time on its earlier flights, and would give estimated landing times, not just take off times, and it was pretty accurate.
I also liked the interface of both FlightView and Tapatalk better on the Pre, but they work well enough on Android.
Still what I miss most is:
keyboard
cards

I miss Synergy.
Is there a way to merge contacts from Synergy and Gmail. I hate having two contacts for the same person. I would just eliminate the Facebook contacts but I like having the picture that goes with it.
I hope this is not the wrong place to post this. - 10-26-2011, 03:14 PM #229
Re: Photon Support Group For Palm webOS Users
I miss the PIXELPIPE APP, it was very convenient to have one place to send my photos and posts for facebook, flickr, myspace, photobucket, youtube, etc...
It's not in the Android market, although the developer has mentioned a newer version will be out soon. - 10-26-2011, 03:27 PM #230

Re: Photon Support Group For Palm webOS Users
You can do a google search of pixelpip apk and find older copies of it, not sure if it still works, etc.
See this link:

Re: Photon Support Group For Palm webOS Users
Thanx for the info guys! Please tell me there is a way to tell the phone to "SHUT UP" with the power button. My ring tones can be embarassing when they go off at work and I have to turn on the phone -> enter pass pattern -> and then pull down the notifications bar to get them to stop! My default txt mesage ring tone is "you got 99 problems and the message is one, PICK IT UP"x3!! Please help, I want to mute the phone with a power button press, any ideas?

Re: Photon Support Group For Palm webOS Users
If you hold the power button down you can put your phone into silent mode, then it won't ring when you get phone calls and texts, but you will still get the tiny led light. You can then switch it back when you get off work. There's also an app called NoLed that shows led icons on your timed out screen when you get calls, texts, etc that you can install from the market. It was linked in one of the recent messages about LED notifications.

Re: Photon Support Group For Palm webOS Users
Wow, this is great. I have had nothing but palm products since the original palm pilot. I have owned no other phone except a plam phone. After so many years its time to move on and power down my beloved Palm Pre and leave Web OS. Thank you for making the move easier.
I just bought a photon and taking deep breaths while I activate it.

Re: Photon Support Group For Palm webOS Users
One thing that I really miss from my Pre: when I get a text that I have a voicemail in youmail or my home phone, if it was from a contact on my phone, the contact's name would appear by their phone number, so that I immediately knew who the call was from. True Synergy, oh how I miss you!!

Re: Photon Support Group For Palm webOS Users
Well, I still do gestures on my Photon every day, after one year and a month since I left my beloved Palm Pre for the Moto Photon!!!
Fortunately, I still get my webOS fix whenever I want with my "PalmPad" or using my little black pebble on wifi.
I do love many things about my Photon, especially getting rid of only one or a few notifications at a time (almost like the Palm Pre) from the drop down with out clearing all of them, but am very, VERY disappointed at Motorola for not keeping their promise about releasing ICS for us Photon users!
Now that I found out that the Galaxy S3 apparently will be sold for $50 at Sprint on Nov 23, I'm thinking on getting it, but not sure if I should, some issues kinda bother me, I'm not sure about TouchWiz, never used it before.
Don't know if SGS3 on Sprint will get JB pretty soon, like before February 2013 soon!
When in hell do we, Sprint users in Raleigh, NC will get 4G LTE? I'm happy with 4G Wimax on my Photon.
Also, could I get rid of just one notification without clearing them all on the SGS3?!Last edited by STARGATE-SG1; 10-07-2012 at 11:06 PM.
If I'm very clever, and I'm more than clever, I'm brilliant! I might just save the World, or rip it apart!
