Sprint has gone crazy
BEFORE any of you say troll or BS I will assure each and everyone of you that when I get home from work later this morning I will be posting a copy of the letter in full for your viewing.
Attention all Sprint customers if you call Sprint about something at the end they always ask was I able to resolve your issue for calling. Make sure you say YES!! I said no to one rep and was sent a certified letter from Sprint saying it appears we were unable to resolve your issue there for we are excising our right to remove and cancel your entire account with Sprint.
I Called Sprint to see if it was a scam and the rep opened my account and said nope and I am sorry I can not speak to anymore about this account please remember you have 4 days remaining now to port and we have to advise you since you were not sure if this was true or not we have confirmed and see this is in fact real and documented on your account. We also want to remind you that per the letter you are not welcome to step inside any Sprint owned property.
WTG Sprint this is a sure fire way to bankrupt yourself before 2013. Keep up the good work.
Reason for call: I saw 78.00 in pending charges online under data called to see what they were about. Lady puts me on hold forever comes back and goes that is your activation charge. I said no it is not those were downloaded things via data I see a user has pending charges what are they? Rep: I do not know probably just apps or short code texts. They have told me before in the past what they were can you tell me? Rep: I am not seeing anything. Well is it a bous charge? Rep: Heavens no just wait till you get your bill and you will see them, does this resolve your reason for calling? No. - 11-04-2011, 07:12 AM #2
Whoa that's insane.

Re: Sprint has gone crazy
Rep probably did something screwy to your account. I'd escalate it up to the executive level and get the issue resolved and probably get a few perks for your troubles or you can always use it as a get out of jail ETF-free opportunity...

Re: Sprint has gone crazy
Oh man, I would be calling the executive or something. Sprint technically can cancel your service as stated but this is fraud.

Re: Sprint has gone crazy
Sounds sorta strange, I would call Sprint and ask to speak to a manager. If that fails...Go to a Sprint corp store. You will be heard some how some way! Keep on trying.

Re: Sprint has gone crazy
Something fishy for sure - I have said "no" on several occassions when calling for support for lousy coverage in my house so I could for sure get a free Airave ... I'd spend 15-20 min on with them and there'd be no change in my signal, so they'd give up and say sorry they couldn't resolve my problem. The 4th time when I said my signal was bad and that I'd called 3x before with no resolution, they overnighted me the Airvana (new Airave) and not some letter that said they were cancelling my service and I couldn't go "insided any Sprint owned property."

I think the op is leaving something out. Sounds like he had words and made threatening remarks. In this day and age you cant go around threatening people.

Re: Sprint has gone crazy
Yeah you can. You can cancel whenever you desire. It's part of the contract.

Re: Sprint has gone crazy
You can port out whenever you'd like to, but if you straight up cancel a line it is done at the end of the billing cycle. Most carriers will charge you through the end of your billing cycle anyways though if you cancel via port out.

Re: Sprint has gone crazy
Sorry for the delay folks here is the letter I was talking about. And NO there is no well talk to someone higher this is some higher. I finally did get a reason as to why. There reasoning was well you had an EVO and upgraded to the iphone had that for 5 days and exchanged to the Photon which you had a few days then returned and went back to your EVO. You abused the trial period. WOW abused excuse me you offer it. Buyers beware.

Re: Sprint has gone crazy
By all means go ahead one and all call Ms. Webb. I am sure she would me more than happy to send out more letters. LOL.
Anyways on a serious note. I have talked to my lawyer friend and he told me that since there was no reason given in writing that I should excise my right to keep facts straight that Sprint bills in a month ahead so double check my bills and should not have any final bill. - 11-08-2011, 10:37 AM #24
If one were to call from a phone other than their Sprint line and perhaps use an....alias, I don't see how she would be able to take any punitive action against anyone. You should submit this to Consumerist. Very little that corporations hate more than bad PR.

Re: Sprint has gone crazy
Sorry to hear that... This is why I always say "yes" and "sure" to their last question(s) to me.
Rep: Was I able to resolve your issue(s) today?
Me: Yes.
Rep: Before you go, in the next 24 to 48 hrs or so..you might received a survey asking you about my performance, will you be able to say "yes" to the question(s) asked?
Me: Sure. (This goes well with you all the time.)
