Default Got Root? Beware of OTA Sprint security updates!

Sprint pushed out an OTA security update for the LG Marquee last night. Many users report losing root (and not being able to regain it) and losing the ability to tether. If you value your rooted phone don't blindly install updates from Sprint. I have no idea why Sprint targeted the Marquee, but they're likely to try locking down other phones as well. You have been warned!

Yup! Motorola pushed out an update a couple weeks ago. Broke my root & my tether. I was able to root again with a different method but I still can not wifi tether. Fortunately, bluetooth tether still works!

Some crafty dev will get it worked out soon. If Sprintorola can do it, a dev can undo it.
