Well according to this to this new announcement today from Sprint folks living in the Waukegan-Lake County area should see some LTE action. Plus supposedly some us will see some better average 3G speeds. Just ran a speed test over here in Oakbrook, and not too bad! I'll have to see if it's any better back home in Oak Park.

Drove all over north side of Chicago yesterday - Lincoln Park and Lakeview, Wicker Park, Bucktown too....no 4g whatsoever. Traveled home to Aurora last night via 290/88, no 4g at all either. Back home in Aurora, no 4G. Spent weekend in Antioch/Fox Lake post 9/21, no 4G....

I have the S3. No sign of 4G anywhere for me! Am amazed to see others in Chicagoland area getting 4g and I hope it finds me soon!

spoke to soon earlier today - maybe it's because this morning i manually updated the software on the S3, but I got 4G LTE this afternoon when I was out and about in Aurora.

Speeds were ridiculous when it worked for a bit.

Yeah still nothing here in the Oak Park/near west 'burbs. Pretty dismal 3G speeds and of course no LTE. But the call quality has gotten better as of late. Haven't dropped any calls and I'm actually receiving them!

Still getting pretty decent 3G speeds at work in Oak Brook but no LTE yet either.

Got my first taste of LTE earlier today. 3.5 down, so, as a starting point ... I'll take it! Just happy to finally see it. Been noticing improved 3G speeds as well. :thumbup:
