From bottom to top: 3g, 4g, and wifi. All at my home in SLC, UT. these were fairly high speeds compared to what I usually get.

North Jersey (Bergen County)

Just switched from Verizon to Sprint and this Sprint network is not good at all but willing to wait for LTE. I have gotten anywhere between 68kbps to 782kbps but averaging around 300kbps (Download). Upload is slightly better. I feel its getting slower and slower every day.

Oops! I'm on AT&T
I too bad you get throttled after 3 gb
with wimax in Hawaii 8-12mb DL. I do 3 GB in the 3 days
with no worries at all plus tethering all my friends At&t iPhones(3 of them) at work because they are worried to go over their cap? Give me a frigging break.... Sprint will have LTE soon plus unlimited data. Wimax is more than enough right now.

And oh... Have fun driving your bugati in a school zone
;)

About typical for me... Maybe a little lower than normal.

I know the greater dc area had been sluggish lately, but sprint did confirm work being done... I've been getting better speeds in an around dc lately, so I won't complain :)

I guess a picture best describes it...

What has caused my recent literally over night improvement in 3g speeds is hard to say. Last Friday I was on the phone with Sprint complaining because I barely got above dail up speed, now I'm getting good if not excellent speeds over the weekend.

Fyi, I'm in Chicago suburbs, specifically Plainfield, Il. I know the upgrades are in process in my area so maybe they finally flipped the switch on some 3g enhancements over the weekend .

Whatever the case, Sprint your finally showing me a little light at the end of the tunnel :)

Update. I previously said that I average around 400kbps in New Orleans. I recently started working in Slidell, LA (30 minutes outside of new orleans), and I've been getting upto 2 Mbps here. Crazy!

I just updated the OP. This post was originally intended to be about pre-LTE, pre-Network Vision speeds. But just as Sprint's Network is evolving, so will this post. Feel free to post any speeds you'd like (3G pre or post upgrades, LTE, or WiMax), but please clearly state what network the speed is based on for everyone's benefit.

That's bad. I can't remember it was this bad when I last went there over a year ago.
Must be those damn iPhones.

This is mine from Elk Grove, CA

Yeah, when I ran those speed tests it was the weekend at a pretty high usage/peak time. It is usually a little bit better but I've looked on the sprint website and saw that they should be having some upgrades within the next six months. This will hopefully help with our data speeds here! Fingers crossed :-\
