Re: 4G LTE in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, KC & San Antonio July 15t
Does this mean the upgraded 3g will be live (and noticeable) then too?

So? Lol wish I lived somewhere that would get LTE before the end of 2012. They aren't supposed to start in Michigan until around October or later.

Re: 4G LTE in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, KC & San Antonio July 15t
I live in Austin, and service everywhere from Killeen to San Antonio in central Texas. I go to San Antonio 2-3 times a week so I am excited to check out the upgraded 3g (using the e4gt). Next, just looking forward to Austin getting the new fast speeds.

Re: 4G LTE in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, KC & San Antonio July 15t
Last I heard is that it will be phased out completely by 2015.
As they are no longer selling any WiMax phones, whatever the masses have now will last through the rest of their 2 year contract, and then some.
LTE is the future. Glad Sprint has joined us for the ride.

I too am in the Atlanta Metro area. I live in Statham (between Winder and Athens) and I work in Norcross. Per the maps I have seen, the tower I can see from my driveway at home is Sprints and will be LTE active.

Can't wait.

I'm also in the Atlanta area Stone Mountain to be exact. So hope lte reaches out here. The most I've gotten on 3g was 2.1mbps down but that was at like 4am and never saw it again. Wait just got it again here is some pics first one is me on Wi-Fi tether app playing Tera lol. The second one is using coverage map speed test app and last is the speed test.net app. The ping is a little high but not that serious it's getting the job done lol. Guess sprint is really improving its 3g after all. Just hope lte is even better.
