    A Moto device just cleared the FCC and it carries the model XT1056. Sound Familiar? Can it be that Sprint would be the first to offer the X Phone or one of its variants.

    That seems to be very true.

    Motorola XT1056 gains FCC credentials for Sprint

    I will be interested to see the specs, etc if it does come our way.

    Tri-bands are also due by the end of this year.
    Lots of good options coming soon.
    My upgrade is on Dec 1st so I should have many to choose from.
