Why isn't my phone sending text messages?

Text messages aren't actually sent

This past Monday, all of my texts seem to have stopped going through. I would send them, they would show as being sent, the icon for the logging application in the notification bar would briefly show up indicating the phone recorded a text being sent, but it would never show up on the other phone. Calls still work just fine, and MMS goes through just like normal, only texts. I also can't receive any texts, but I can receive calls and pictures.

I've tried updating the profile and the PRL but those don't do anything.

I have an HTC One M7. My girlfriend has the same phone and is on the same plan but she hasn't had any issue.

Has anyone else had something like this happen?

On the system, texts and voice are the same, they just use different apps, so it's most likely a carrier or account problem. Call y9our carrier or visit their store.

This. I'd check with Sprint to see if there are any know issues in your area.
