Sprint is/was down in several areas

Seems that Sprint is experiencing an outage of several services in Illinois, Indiana and possibly other areas. Some people on Twitter are saying it's fixed; others are still complaining.

I'm able to place a voice call now (6:30 pm, Central) but wasn't able 30 minutes ago.

I noticed my texts were sitting there saying that they were sending forever and then would fail. I would try several times and they would finally go thru. I'm in Indianapolis.

Was out for a little while in northwest Wisconsin too. Seems to be resolved now.

It taught me how dependent on technology we've become. I was texting with my son about his plans for the evening when he asked a question and I couldn't answer him, couldn't call him, couldn't email him. Ugh! It was like...when I was growing up in the 1970s.
