Our company is considering doing this as well simply because we have people that aren't our customers (competitors) coming on just to post negative things to hurt us and help their business.

Banned? I assume you just mean deleted and blocked. Sprint can't actually ban people from facebook.
I can't say I blame them though. I hate censorship but at the same time I wouldn't allow people to badmouth my page, especially since people get really nasty when they're hiding behind a computer and who knows if they're even customers. - 04-21-2011, 08:57 AM #6
I think all businesses, not just wireless carriers do this. Facebook is a way to reach a lot of current and potential customers, and no one wants to have "bad press" available for someone to read. I would venture to guess that if you posted something negative and nonconstructive on Verizon's or ATT-Mobile's page, you would find a similar result.

Too bad Verizon and AT&T have subscribers while Sprint keeps losing them since they're such a joke nowadays.

That's lame. I can see banning spammers, but usually a comment delete will suffice. Were you spamming?

An opinion is fine. Pointing out what you don't like about a company is fine. But going on and on and on and on about it is just over the top. I mean its a cell phone company. It's not like they killed your mom or anything. Keep it in perspective. Or maybe you just don't like someone having a differing opinion than yours.

Yes, it's a cell phone company. What's your point? You're just as over the top as I am in that you're going through all the trouble just to prove how good a company Sprint is. If you ask me, I don't think you know what an opinion is.
That was a low blow comment. Apparently you're seriously burned by me criticizing Sprint since you're resorting to cracking about my family.
What's wrong, did I leave you in tears because I said I am not please with Sprint's bs service?Live long, Rock hard

You definitely don't comprehend very well. I am all about using what works for you. The fact that you stay with Sprint when they don't work for you is your problem. You need to switch to a company that does work for you. It is a waste of money to stay with Sprint when they aren't what you want/need. Sprint works for me and saves me $100 a month. So I stick with them. If in the future they become a provider that doesn't work for what I want then I will switch. I am not loyal to a company just because I am with them. I am going to spend my money where it does the most for me.
It isn't a low blow comment. You act as if they have killed your mom or stolen your spouse or something. Keep it is perspective. In the grand scheme of things what you have complained about and continue to waste your energy on isn't really that important. It was a comparison, not a blow to your mom.
I am not in tears because Sprint isn't what you want/need in a provider. If it's not then it's not. There is no one company and one phone that will work for everyone. That is why we have choices. I think that your choice to stay with a provider that doesn't work for you is silly but that is your choice. - 04-23-2011, 11:27 PM #18
Maybe you should take that $100 and buy yourself a clue. What works for me is a competent carrier who isn't half assing their 4G efforts or slapping data fees on phones when you're already paying data fees. But we all know Sprint did that to all smartphones since they got flack for the 4G fee. Get over yourself. Switching carriers right now after just getting a new phone would be stupid considering I'd have to pay the ETF, pay the last billing cycle, buy a new phone, and pay a activation fee depending who I choose. Again, get over it. You're speaking about "money" yet you keep overlooking the above that I pointed out to you once before.
And you're over here making low blow comments just because I am bashing Sprint for their poor customer service. You're acting like I am flaming your bf or pissing in your bowl of wheaties. and I don't have a spouse. keep the accusations coming.
Funny, then you wouldn't be on my neck about every time I bash Sprint. It's called free speech or have you heard of it? it's not like I am cussing a storm and offending anyone. I am merely voicing that I think Sprint is losing whatever edge they may have had.Live long, Rock hard

Well Miz you do make it seem like it's absolutely killing you to be on Sprint. If it's THAT bad, the ETF might be a small price to pay.
Yeah the 4g rollout is half-baked and the $10 4g tax sucks, but it's not something I'm going to complain about at every opportunity. If it made me so mad that I spent as much time trolling the forum as you do, I'd pay the ETF and stop the pain. - 04-24-2011, 12:35 PM #20

You definitely don't get what I am saying. That's okay though. I am not the one with the issue and so terribly unhappy. I also have more important things to worry about. So I guess you will continue to be unhappy and **** and moan every chance you get instead of moving to a carrier that actually works for you. While I will continue to use a carrier that works for me. And if the time comes where Sprint doesn't work for me then I will switch to who does instead of being absolutely miserable.
- 04-24-2011, 04:07 PM #22
I get what you're saying. What you don't get is that switching right now is not easy. That and you not knowing what an opinion is. But this was really all about that rebate before it spiraled into a rant about Sprint.
I'm sure you can relate
I'm not in pain or anything. I enjoy the device and the convenience, but I don't enjoy Sprint's numerous changes and believe me, there's a lot. Yeah, the 4G thing sucks but I'm more pissed about being charged for it despite not ever getting coverage than I am with paying for it.Live long, Rock hard

I think everyone's pissed about paying for 4g despite not having it. We just stopped vocalizing it on forums.
It's like gas prices. We scream when they go up but then we accept it and move on. - 04-27-2011, 09:04 AM #24

I know. With Sprint reducing coverage, I plan on changing carriers asap. But like I said before, the misconception that Sprint is a good carrier had to be addressed and I was merely addressing it.
