4g in Memphis, TN

I was in downtown Memphis today and and noticed i was getting a 4G signal. i sure hope this means sprint is finally going to roll it out here.

It looks like there are three towers now active in the Memphis area. It's giving pretty decent coverage too. Hopefully they will fully build it in the near future. To look at a coverage map, you can go to: . It is pretty accurate. And Sprint still is not yet showing 4G service in Memphis on it's website.

There is also an Android App called GOT CLEAR? that you can download so you can always look for Sprint/Clear 4G service on your device while on the go.

I'm sitting in my house 2 miles north of Wolfchase Mall and (with my EVO's antenna "on") I get no bars, no signal strength, no network provider...you get the picture.

Looks like they have good service at Wolfchase Mall, but looking at the map going north up Germantown Road, the signal fades before you get to US70/US 79. But you can now surf at the mall, or when you get something to eat! Have you tried the new 4G service now active in the Memphis area, yet?

I just started using Solavei, and in my area of Memphis (38117) the 4G coverage is great. Still have some spots around town with no action, but overall I am satisfied with my service. Especially since my cell phone plan makes me money!
