    Default SIM Question

We just got new Atrix2's at work. I was told to pop my sim out of my old phone(a 3G SIM) in the atrix2 and I would be good to go. Problem is that I do not get any data connection. Do I need a 4G SIM for the data to work in the Atrix2?

Your plan has to be provisioned properly and also you need a 4G sim

Your sim will work just fine but you do need the 4G data plan which is provisioned differently from the iPhone data plan.

What kind of phone is it that you had before? That typically doesn't happen going from iPhone (3g or greater) to an android handset. I move back and forth between iP4 and Atrix with no problem. Qualifier for those who will digress: I did get a text from att the first time I went to a 4g phone saying that I needed to call them, but it was just a feature code they added on to my account.

If you went from a blackberry or OG iPhone, then yes you will need to call and change plans. Blackberry plans are not compatible with iPhone plans and vice versa.

Good info. I did not know you could do that with android and iphone. I routinely switch my sim between android phones but did not know you can do it with iphone.
