Dropped a call when a notification pops up

As stated in another post, I am new here and to Android. I have an Atrix 2 that was picked up from an AT&T store a few days ago. This is the second time I have had a call totally cut out and drop when a notification popped up. Any clue?

The phone is stock and says it has the latest firmware.

I am having the same problem with my atrix2 too, I had been thinking that happened due to reception, however after reading your thread; it made sense that the notifications might causing the problem.

FWIW, I returned the Atrix 2 and am back on BlackBerry waiting to see if there are any nice deals in the next week or so.
