I have a rooted Motorola ATRIX 2, and the new AT&T update is rolling out. Can I just go ahead an update it, or do I have to unroot first? Sorry, android noob here

if you lose your root you can apply root again. Get voodoo rootkeeper to backup your root file first.

I updated this morning. Used Voodoo rootkeeper. No problems and restored root after the update.

Thanks guys! Just updated my phone. Used the Voodoo rootkeeper. Everything seems to be working fine!

Well being a new guy at this I didnt back up the root before running the new update 2.3.6 from AT&T, and now I can't get the root to work. rats.
