Update failed message after installing 55.13.25

I tried the update today. Downloaded via wifi and the install looked fine but at the end got an update failed message. Now I am wondering what failed.

I noticied that my Baseband version is not the same as what is listed in the article for 55.13.25.

After the update mine is still listed as:

Baseband version
2011-09-21 09:42 Off.Bld
LUD_EDISON_R1D7_PATCH_27_110921_0913

The article shows:

Baseband version
2011-11-16.23.52.Off.Bld
LUD_EDISON_R1D7_PATCH_36_111116_2336

I called Motorola about this and asked them if posssibly that is the update part that failed. They were not able to help and wanted me to send in my phone.

Can anyone who has successfully performed the 55.13.29 update please post what your baseband version is?
I would much rather not have to send in my phone but I need to confirm first if the artricle is wrong or if an fact my baseband version update did not happen.

Have you rooted and deleted some of the bloatware? Deleted bloatware will cause the update to fail.

No... Never rooted the phone. Too bad now since Motorola claims there is no way for me to run the update again.

I have the same problem -- I deleted some of the ATT crap right after buying the phone on saturday. Tried to install the upgrade today, got an update fail message, and I have the same baseband version. grr.
