I rooted my phone using 1 click not superoneclick, and did not know that when ATT sends an update that I should unroot the phone first. Now I am unable to to have superuser access. Can someone help me unroot so I can Root my phone again? I am lost and I am a newbie so I need help before I screw my phone up. Thanks in advance!

I'm new at all this but it is my understanding that if you do a factory reset it will return to stock, however if you do return to stock and upgrade to 2.3.6 you wont be able to root your Atrix 2. Their is suppose to be a root that just became available for A2 on xda-developers.com. I think its called "Motofail", dont know anything other than that good luck.

There's an app called "OTA Rootkeeper". After you install it, go to the app and click "Protect root" and then click "Temp. Un- root". Then install the OTA update, go back into the apologize and click on "restore root". You should be fine. That's how I did it. Works brilliant
