Nothing new for Atrix2?
So what gives? Is this device totally unloved, or just so good there are no issues?
I am still having no luck with the end call issue. This is really irritating for me; I received a call and wanted to ignore it so I Alps the red button to the left and it looked like it worked yet the ophone continues to ring for another 4 seconds. Is that normal? None of my BlackBerry devices ever hesitated to end call.
And now that an update has come out, will a root and custom rom be made? - 03-09-2012, 05:43 PM #2
There IS a root method and two custom ROMs that I am aware of. The Atrix 2 is still somewhat new to the scene and having a locked bootloader from Motorola makes community development a challange.

Re: Nothing new for Atrix2?
Will these methods work with the latest "official" OS ROM from AT&T? If so, can you point me to that info?
Also, do you think a developer would trade an old AT&T capable phone for a new Atrix2 for development/experimentation? This phone is a let down for me and I would be happy to give it to a developer to use to help the members/users who own one of these devices.Motorola Atrix 2 on AT&T

Re: Nothing new for Atrix2?
Thanks for the info. I shall look into Supercharged V2. How does it do for cell phone work? Does it do 3G?

Try SuperCharged V5. I use 4G. Phone works great. Better performance than stock. Some people have experienced issues with Update1/Update2. I think they mainly effect Go launcher which I don't use anyhow. I use straight V5 without the updates. Everything I need works. I did have to install Google Search from the Market. It isn't included in SuperCharged by default.
