GO Launcher uninstall FAIL, help!

Hey everyone, I made the mistake of trying to uninstall GO Launcher EX from the Market and ended up with a blank screen. The only screen I can get is the keyboard when holding the "Menu" button, and the drop down menu, all other things are black screen...I tried the 2 button hard reset and besides Android Recovery not being an option, I can't even scroll/select any items from the menu...does anyone have ANY help?

Might sounds like a stupid question but do you still have the stock launcher? If there is no other launcher to default to you will get this type of out come

I never uninstalled the stock launcher, so yes. It should still be there.

Before you try to uninstall it, go into your settings/apps/manage apps and clear defaults on the go SMS launcher. See if that helps matters out, you can then choose the stock launcher as your default then try the uninstall.

I think you misunderstood, my phone is inoperable due to the fact that I already attempted to uninstall GO Launcher (while running a go theme, and go lock screen, and go contacts) from the Market Screen.

Not having a back ground with that device hopefully some of our fellow members can chime in with some options but I feel a stock recovery hard reset might end up happening, I could be wrong.

Like I said originally, I tried that, the hard reset menu doesnt give me any recovery option

I took the phone to the ATT store and luckily ONE guy there actually knew what he was talking about and found a way to bypass the locked up FastBoot screen. Factory reset was still necessary, but luckily I didn't have to wait a week for a warranty phone to come in!

Here's an easy solution to resolving the go launcher uninstall blank screen.

Make sure your phone is on, log into google however you do.

Go to this link: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gau.go.launcherex&hl=en

Click install and select your phone. The app should be pushed to your phone and installs automatically. Open app after install.

DONE!
