I hated this phone so much. You don't how badly i wanted to smash the crap out of this phone. Probably one of the worst smartphones ever created. If they didnt have such crap optimizations the phone would have been great. They just had such horrible software optimizations eating up the RAM and CPU load. The only good thing about that thing was the camera. Which could take some nice photos. Ive moved on to the LG G3.

Wow. I'm still using the Atrix2. I look at every new model and decide to not upgrade. Too big, too loaded with exotic features I'd never use, no sdcard, non-removable battery, etc. I solved almost all the above complaints by rooting and disabling or completely removing the bloat. I do "violate the rules" by closing apps even force closing some apps when free memory gets down below 100m (mainly because of a couple of background apps that get unloaded if I let Android handle low memory). And I added an extended battery so I can go a full day (slightly more) without charging. With those changes it's been a very good phone maybe not great but far from worst. I still don't know what I'll replace it with when it fails. The new Mot X 2014 won't cut it with no sdcard. Maybe the Sony Xperia 3 compact if it comes to ATT.

Judh.
Still using my atrix2 for the same reasons you mentioned. Been in service for over 2 1/2yrs and does everything that needs done.
With that being said.... and as much as i love my Motorola..... I found a new kid on the block that takes these things to a much higher level, at a reasonable cost.
Google the V2. (V squared). Its not released yet, but Ill be watching reviews when it is.
