Sometimes when I press "delete" my phone "sends". And when I'm typing, words get removed. I would think it might be my ability to type on the screen but in texting, the send and delete buttons are at opposite ends on the screen. I tried shutting down all the apps and the phone. I have not tried a factory reset because I don't want to lose my data. (contacts and saved messages).

Does anyone have any thoughts on why this would happen and what I can do to resolve it?
