My mother-in-law's phone has been running very, very slowly and today the keyboard stopped popping up, so I took a look. After trying to change the default keyboard and download new ones we decided to do a factory reset because nothing worked and it was miserably slow.
After the reset, I handed her the phone so she could log into her Google account, but they keyboard still wouldn't work. And now voice typing won't work either so I can't download new apps. Sype and Google Search both constant force quit. We tried one more reset but still no luck.
What do I do? Can I hook it to a computer and push the original software package back onto the phone so the factory reset will work?
PS the phone did start running quickly after the reset, though the touch did sometimes register touches oddly.
