I have a decent amount of music and videos on my ATRIX. After updating to Gingerbread I noticed severe battery drain after launching the music player. I go to the task mgr and Android System is using about 20% CPU and Music is using about 15%. I also noticed it is always transferring data. I go to the battery mgr and it says Music is using about 20% of my battery, and is keeping my phone awake for hours at a time. Has anyone noticed this on their ATRIX?

I havent noticed it, but I did make sure that the sync was off for the music player and that it didnt attach to any online account for this very reason.

I use MIUI music player...the gingerbread UI is horrible and takes up too much mem and battery!
