Will the Atrix get the same 3D blur as the Bionic?

Anyone think the Atrix will get the updated UI that the Bionic has?

When I played with bionic at verizon store i felt so jealous. I really wish there was any way to have the same UI on the Atrix but i think its not gonna happen at least with current gingerbread build. maybe when and if ICS comes out for our phone.

Yeah, the Bionic UI is better for sure.. (I have both Atrix and the Bionic but wish the Atrix had it as well..)

At least the Atrix is the faster phone in regards to CPU/GPU. Did a quadrant on both and the Atrix always scores at least 200-300 better.

I must admit i didnt really like the screen of the bionic. it seemed a bit more pixelated than the atrix. dont you think so? it maybe because of the bigger display size?

I think it's because of the screensize.. while the colors are pretty good, the pixelation when there's screen movement is totally noticible.

As far as the Atrix goes, I dislike the gray square around the H+

I liked overall look of the bionic's UI. But I am inclined to think that Verizon specifically requested some changes in UI. I really really wish there was a way to get rid of that awful white background on the dock bar of the Atrix.
on a side note, I'm looking forward to see and play with SGSII (Attain) I might sell the Atrix on ebay or amazon and get the Attain... the only thing im concerned is the battery life... as I understand it will be shorted than the Atrix

Maybe that UI is a blur build only for TI based phones, like Droid 3 and Dionic.

You can see in the meantime the Photon 4G, another tegra2 device coming with the same UI as our Atrix...

Dude tell me about it, I hate the ugly white background at the bottom of my phone. Very distracting when the rest of my phone is dark colors / black. They need to get rid of that crap.

I'm still not impressed with Gingerbread when it comes to phone performance. Overall my phone has been very slow since the upgrade. I run a live background on my phone (which a dual core phone should handle with ease), it was real smooth on 2.2, but ever since 2.3 it's been very laggy when swiping back and forth between the screens.

I agree with you. The phone sometimes overheats really badly at the bottom and I was hoping this would be fixed with GB. and as far as live backgrounds and some other things I was able to run fine on froyo they suck on GB... battery life wasnt improved either (at least on my phone) but they killed the UI with friggin white background and menus. well... maybe ICS would improve the performance if we ever get it on our Atrix. ICS supposed to take the full advantage of multicore processing...

Completely agree with your comments on the UI color change from back to white. Again, it looks worse now than before. Back on 2.2 I loved the black numbers and black background with white text, it looked great and different from many phones out there. I especially liked viewing my phone at night because it would not ruin my night vision.

Now, everything is white, ugly, and when I check my phone at night (sometimes while driving) it kills my night vision. They need to come out with a fix for Atrix owners on 2.3 if you ask me. 2.3 upgrade was all bling (and in some parts, for the worse) and it significantly hindered phone performance.

Why would they change the notification bar from white to dark blue (great change, love it), and then put ugly white background on the dock bar? Makes no sense at all.
