Laptop dock $50 on AT&T website.

As the title suggests, it's on sale at AT&T. While I may not have an atrix anymore, thought I'd give you guys the heads up.

Bummer, the price is now $99 plus tax and shipping.

A refurb can be had for $75 with free shipping, but meh...

15 minutes with an AT&T rep got me an offer for an additional $20 off the new lapdock but I don't want to spend $100 for the lapdock (with tax and shipping)... I'd rather put it towards a Transformer Prime.

I got it for $53 shipped but it has been sitting at "Pending" since Dec. 4th when I ordered it... I'm starting to get fed up with it. I realize the 4th was a Sunday, but why has it not left for shipment on Monday the 5th, Tuesday the 6th, or especially TODAY the 7th? If it still says pending tomorrow when I check my order online, I guess I'll have to call AT&T and ask them what's going on.

Is anyone else who ordered experiencing this?
Maybe I'm feeling impatient because I just recently ordered a book from amazon and it left for shipment literally the very next day.

I purchased this on the 4th as well and it arrived today. Now I need to find a rom that enables the webtop. Currently running CM7.

Thanks for the response.
I checked with AT&T and they said since it was on sale for that price, they got too many orders & don't have enough (would've been nice if my order switched to "backordered" instead of staying the same thing, "Pending"), and apparently they get shipments every Tues & Thursday, so they should receive more tomorrow. Not sure when I'll get this, but so much for "Free 2-day shipping"..

I really want the Transformer Prime though...if only it weren't a kajillion dollars.

I ordered mine on the 5th and I got a email today saying my ordered was canceled. Call CS and said it was backordered and put me back on the list

If this comes through I think i can wait till next year for a new phone. Hopefully something quad core and ICS.

Sounds like you & I are in the same boat..I'm really only getting this to hold me over for a little while longer, plus the cheap price of $53. My contract extended when I bought the atrix on launch day at the end of Feb, so I've still got quite a ways to go until I can upgrade anyway, unless I shell out enough $$$ for an off-contract device. If I could have the Prime and the Atrix, I'd be satisfied for a whole lot longer.

They better not cancel our orders! Glad to hear you were put back on the list after you called. So far I haven't received any e-mails about my purchase whatsoever, except the initial "Thanks for your order! Here's the confirmation!"

I seen this on a blog somewhere but I thought it said you had to pony up to a 4 gig data plan in order to use it? I'm a newbie to At&t so I don't have unlimited data, just the 2 gig plan so I didn't make the buy of the dock.

I chatted with a AT&T rep earlier today. She confirmed they had no stock of the docks, and didn't know when they would receive more. When pressed whether that meant days, weeks, or months, she said it should be 14-21 days at the most.

Take that for what it's worth

Well, not for me, I guess. I just got an email from AT&T cancelling my order. See below. I had ordered this on Dec 5th. I can only guess that this was a limited offer. Though I don't recall them stating such on the web page. Very disappointed with AT&T, but then again, who isn't

I ordered immediately after the story went up on AC at the $50 price point.
Shortly after the price went to $99.

So anyone who gets this at $99 PM me because I think this whole thing was a scam, and they never did have any of these, and I'm just ornery enough to make them cough one up if they filled EVEN ONE order at $99.

read over on XDA that they went into ATT store and checked to see if they had any in stock. Talked to them if they could price match if they show them a order number and they did. I'm going to try that .

Yet when it was taking forever to ship, I called and they said they got too many orders and I'd just have to wait a while longer - even told me they receive shipments on Tues & Thurs and to expect it within 2 weeks. Ha. Now it's cancelled!

Try going into a ATT cor store if you have one close by. Call if they have one in stock first of course.
