I agree with that...Also the March-1st release sounds more correct than some of the speculation about this being released in Jan. Wouldnt AT&T try to get some more HSPA+ mileage before they release this, Like releasing HSPA+ wifi cards and releasing details of thier HSPA+(with upgraded backhaul) markets...

Oh, by the way ...

Is the Motorola Atrix 4G coming to AT&T on March 1? | Android Central - 01-13-2011, 02:42 PM #9
isn't this the same pic that the other guy posted yesterday? the warehouse i think is the same as the pic he provided.
Edit*: Sorry its not just looked at large version. If true their marketing would make no sense. If you start a campaign right now and people look for the phone and find out its not available now or very soon, they will move on. SO why would you waste money on advertising with the product not being available close to the campaign, makes no sense(from an advertising point of view).Last edited by RippThaJacker; 01-13-2011 at 02:50 PM.

This sucks worse than Being forced to listen to Justin beiber.

Why are they running commercials for it already? Bad planning imo, they need to get this out sooner rather than later.

Why does it say it has a qwerty keyboard??

Personally the launch date doesnt bother me since i have to wait till like June anyway to upgrade. Its the price witha new two year contract that i am worried about. My guess is 200-250

The going price for high end smart phones is in the $200.00-$300.00 range - so why would you think it would be anything less. If you want a cheaper top tier smart phone then get something that isn't the best out.

I never said it would be any less. I just guessed what i think the price could be.

This rumor, is a rumor and should be taken lightly. I find a late January launch a lot more believable for a few reasons:
1) They are already ran a commercial
2) At CES Nividia said it would be late January.
3) They need to 1 up verizon before the cdma iPhone comes out - 01-14-2011, 01:34 AM #19
Wow if its really 199 thats great. To be honest i am going to upgrade through best buy and i plan on using my christmas gift cards to upgrade. I should have that plus enough to buy a case or something for it.

Question?
So we don't know when it is coming out? Correct
So we don't know how much it will be? Correct
No one has even mentioned that fact that it is labeled as a"4G" device.
You know what that means? Yes I do.
Pay your normal Data charge $15, $25, $30, now add a 4G charge of $10-$15.
When Sprint came out with the EVO the 4G sounded great, but no one knew what the additional cost for 4G was.
I am very excited for the phone, but I was also excited for my Captivate, which without the help of the Android Community, would have been gone a long time ago.
I will wait on this one and see how it turns out. I do expect more out of Moto but we will see.
So does anyone know if there will be a 4G cost? - 01-14-2011, 08:19 AM #22

Did you read the Article ? no where does it say that HSPA+ is 4G. but it could be considered 4g. The reason for that is that 4G itself is undefined. Tmobile is doing this to market against Verizons LTE deployment and Sprints Winmax. thank you for playing. Everyone is claiming 4G now. The real improvement will be when LTE is really released on carriers that we will see areal improvement.
