That doesn't make any sense to me. What does simultaneous voice and data have to do with webtop? And even if that is a requirement for some crazy reason, Verizon has simultaneous voice and data on their 4G phones, and has said that they are even making their 3G do simultaneous voice and data.

Woot! Saw that earlier today over there too.
The stuff about motoblur is pretty awesome!! (mostly the cloud services thing). Looking forward to it
A bit sad that the back is plastic, but at least the guy said it is higher quality plastic and feel compared to the Galaxy S phones. - 02-02-2011, 07:51 PM #8
Thanks for the info. Getting more and more antsy with every new bit of info.

Odd because I thought Blur was going away because of Google developing their own UI.
Also, I don't doubt the guy is going for training, but I call BS on the battery.
Regular phones don't keep a charge after talking for an hr anymore.
Thanks for the info though. - 02-02-2011, 08:16 PM #10

If you're going to use the Bionic then it will have a different version of Blur than the Atrix.
Also the guy works for AT&T not Best Buy. It sounds like the Atrix will be a pretty amazing device. I was wondering about the fingerprint scanner but it looks like it works great. - 02-03-2011, 08:40 AM #15
The phone will be running moto blur 1.5, and if you want to use another launcher, the motoblur apps will not work quite right.
I was planning on using either LauncherPro or (more likely) ADW Launcher. What apps will I be missing out on? Does this mean I'll miss out on the cloud-based motorola apps you were talking about?
The laptop dock is extremely sturdy and is all metal. It feels like a real quality item. though the viewing angles on it were not impressive at all. It does come with decent speakers built in though!~
Just for clarification, what you mean by this is that, depending on where you are sitting and which angle you are looking at the screen of the laptop dock, you can't really see the screen, right? I hate that
Maybe I'll have to try the dock out before buying it.. will it even be available in-store to try out like that though?
The speaker was clear, but the volume was average. He played some music through it and while we could hear it with no distort at full volume, i feel like it could use a volume hack.
(My first Android phone, btw) How easy it is to increase the volume output on the phone, then? is it as easy as rooting and then installing an app and that's it?
Thanks for all this great information, and sorry for the somewhat n00b questions! - 02-03-2011, 08:42 AM #16

On the left side between the control and alt key, what is that key? I see the home key on the top right.
