Default How to turn off Heptic Feedback for the buttons below the screen

It was very annoying to realize that Motorola has added no option to turn off heptic feedback for the buttoms below the screen (home, apps, back, search etc)

But if you are rooted you can download this app

and turn it off. Just installed it and it works like a charm.

Same rooting program that roots the Atrix has a Unroot button. In my personal opinion it will do you no harm.

You will also be able to use the Wifi Tether if you root

Thanks for the info. I just rooted my phone with Superoneclick and installed that app in a matter of 5 minutes. Gotta love Android lol

Now if I delete the program, it puts the vibrate back right?

Also yes, that program worked like a charm! Its what I used before I believe with my Streak.

just an fyi, this app kills ALL phone vibrations including haptic feedback. calls, txt messages, etc. won't notify via vibrate with this app. it works well, but almost too well

Yeah I just noticed that. And that sucks. We need a program that will disable it for good.
