For all who don't know Seido just released the Active case for the Atrix, I got it and it is a very good case. I recommend for anyone who wants good protection but a more streamlined and attractive case than the Otterbox line. Before this I was using the Speck Candy Shell which I have to say was a pretty good case as well. The Otterbox is just to big around the edges for me.

How big is the case? How much thickness does it add to the phone. I, too, am using the candyshell case and like that it maintains the profile of the phone but it is definitely not very protective. Can you post a picture of the phone next to the case (so that we can see the thickness...)?

Pics would be sweet. I was scoping that out also, but the black is still not available. great color prioritizing there Seidio.

Using the Incipio Feather which is fantastic but looking for a bit more protection.

I've been using the Seido spring-clip holster for the past few weeks and really like it.

My Otterbox Impact series has stretched...the phone moves up & down quite a bit while inside the case now. I hate it, it's extremely irritating and now awkward to grasp 90% of the time. I had heard such good things about Otterbox, but I'm not seeing why... I've owned the case for 2 1/2 months. Part of the reason it has stretched I guess is because, in order to use any of the charging docks, including the cardock, you have to remove the case. So taking it off & putting it back on stretched it? I'm only guessing, but it really sucks. I was always careful with it, too. Waste of money..

Now I'm trying to find something better, but still cheap. Looking at seido now thanks to this thread. Perhaps the "ACTIVE" case?

I really want protection and don't care too much about bulkiness (though it's not preferred), but I need to be able to take it off for the charging docks..

I believe I have the otterbox commuter for mine, so far have no issues with it, but I do not have any docks to constantly have a need to remove the case. Reasonably thing/thick for what it is. Always on the lookout for better and cooler cases, so gonna check this one out. Thanks!

Yeah, I put my atrix on the charger at night by my bed every night, so there's that then, and also I use the cardock every day, a couple times a day sometimes. So, I guess the Otterbox Impact series was not meant to be taken off and put back on so many times..

@jonneh Otterbox has a fantastic warranty .. Email them with a picture of your case and they will replace it for free. They have done this twice for me, once with iPhone 3gs and once with iPhone 4. Great customer service!
