cognition vs froyo

i am currently running cognition on my captivate. if i update to froyo, will i notice a difference in performance? i am happy with cognition, but if froyo is better then who am i to argue. don't we all want what is best for us. haha

Well cognition is froyo based so if i were you i would stay where you are at, my gf is running cog and it never glitches on her while when she was running stock she had lock ups and shut downs etc

If its not broke dont fix it

i have had a few lock ups & shutdowns, but it usually happens with certain apps and games so i'm guessing it is the app, not the rom.

how much of a pain is it to flash different roms? i'd like to try others out, but is it a pain to rearrange all apps and folders when backing up w/ tibu?

As stated above, Cog is built off Froyo, you already have it. Switching to the AT&T update would include their bloatware.
