So I installed a new launcher into the system/apps directory because I want it to be my default launcher. Everything works fine, but how do I exclude it from the task manager? The default touchwiz doesnt display in the task killer, so how do I make the new one not show up?

Are you running stock 2.2 TW?

Are you using a Home Switcher app that makes your new launcher the default?

Also, from 2.2 up task killers cause more harm than good in most cases...something to think about.

Have any links to back this up? Not arguing, just curious.

I don't think there's a way to exclude it unless it's a system app. Just don't kill it. And if you're killing everything, shame on you :p
