Mute problem

Hello there

My wife has a Captivate and we recently updated it to 2.2. Now every time she talks to me, the phone mutes itself literally every 20 seconds. This is basically making the phone unusable. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any thoughts on how to fix it (without going back to 2.1)?

Try a factory reset... Fixed problems I was having after I updated with the gallery not working right, and random shutdowns.
