So here are some pics of the Gingerbread 2.3.5 for the Captivate. Sorry about the poor image quality, but I can't take screenshots because I don't have root anymore.
Anyways, the first thing you'll see is that the notification area is now themed black like stock Gingerbread. The 3G, signal, and battery Icons are also themed.
The notification box is also themed. It looks just like the Galaxy S2's notification area.
The Touchwiz launcher has remained almost the same. The only difference is that it has infinite scrolling (you can now scroll from the last page to the first page).
A small change I've noticed is that when you scroll up or down in menus, you can't go any lower or higher than the first or last item. If you go too low or too high, it'll just make a blue gradient.
Also, the data network mode toggle was removed from the power menu, but it can be found in Settings-->Wireless and network-->Mobile networks-->Use packet data
Overall, the Gingerbread experience feels much smoother. I hope you all enjoy it!
