My Cappy's last days..

Well I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S 2 today and it should be in my hands Wednesday. Going to enjoy my last few days with the Captivate. It's been fun lol

I'm due for an upgrade in mid April but I'm going to try and hold off for a quad core phone for the increased battery life. Would also like to get a phone with ICS already installed instead of playing AT&T's waiting game and getting Gingerbread with the tethering bug. Read on another thread in this forum about Seido's 3800 battery and the users who bought it said it definitely was a noticeable improvement. I'm sure you'll enjoy the S2.

I,m super excited, love getting new devices. The captivate has been great but the GS2 should be even better.

I am glad to hear it SkullDroid67. My upgrade is still too far away. I think you made a good choice. I just hope hope that AT&T improves their Android OS upgrade track record with newer phones like the S2.

My S2 came today but the battery was completely drained, I mean it was dead as a hammer. Almost finished charging it up though. Been waiting all afternoon to start tweaking it lol

Did your GS2 come with 2.3.4 or 2.3.6? I'm thinking about getting one but I really don't want it pre-installed with 2.3.6 due to the awful battery life it brings. Everyone seemed to like 2.3.4 (minus the lock screen issue, though I don't care 'cause I don't set a PIN lock or anything).
