I was trying to install a custom rom. Here is what I did.

1. Using Odin3 I restored to Eclair
2. Updated to Froyo 2.2.1 with Odin (PIT, PDA, CSC, PHONE)
3. Rooted Froyo with SuperOneClick
4. Installed ROM Manager, EC File Manager, Root Manager
5. Tried to use ADB Shell to enable non-signature check in recovery
6. ADB Shell might have worked. Put recover file into /system/bin and replaced it
7. Downloaded CWM and renamed to update.zip
8. Went into recovery mode and installed update.zip
9. Phone went into CWM recovery and I installed NeatRomLite
10. I rebooted phone from CWM recovery

If USB is plugged in it is stuck like this...
If no USB plugged in it is stuck like this...

I have tried going into download mode and failed, I also tried going into recovery mode and failed.

Is my phone brick? How do I fix this?

Turn off the phone, take out the battery.... Wait a couple minutes re-insert the battery... Press volume+ and volume - at the same time and insert the phone cord into the phone keep on holding... Should go into download mode.

Tried that and it is still stuck at those screens

Then I would try a jig... And if that doesn't work... Jtag is the last chance to fixing it

Can you get into recovery and try a factory reset?

How do I make a jig? Can I buy one? How much?

Would that work?

I have tried going into recovery but it just reboots and is stuck at the screen again.

Find a jig on ebay... They're pretty cheap.. Saves the hassle of making one

I believe it's just hold volume- and plug in USB to get into download mode.

Well, Thank You everyone! My sister knows a person who was the engineer for T-Mobile and she gave my phone to him to fix it. Saved me a couple of bucks and the time to fix it. Request lock?
