    Default Import Contacts from Mac?

Alright I have a Mac with contacts that I need transferred to my phone. Is there a free app and software besides Missing Sync? The Missing Sync companion software is 40 bucks...blegh. Or a way to transfer them over perhaps to my Samsung Captivate?

    Thanks in advance!

I believe double twist can do this. But the easiest way to do this is to export the vcard file from your address book and upload it to your google contacts. After that google will push them all to your phone.

    recent iphone convert here.

I was able to sync my contacts directly through the address book app on OSX 10.6.4. Just open address book, preferences, accounts, and click synchronize with google After the account is setup, go to your toolbar up top and tell it to synchronize now.

Calendar syncs similarly. Calendar, preferences, accounts, new account, google.. I use MobileMe, so I have a program called Spanning Sync that syncs between mobileme, my MBP, and google calendar.

    Hope this helps.
