Dont pull out the card with your nails.

The card slot is spring loaded.

Just push down on the card and it should pop right out.

I've seen 99% of people on youtube PULL the dang thing! Your doing it wrong people!!!

Again, DO NOT PULL ON IT!!

It is different if you are moving from other devices such as the blackberry.

I'm not just talking phones here. SDs of all sizes and even compact flash have been removed with this method since day one.

All my devices that have flush fitting slots are springloaded storage - so the card goes all the way in.

Just card readers and my my macbook are non-springloaded, but then the cards stick out so you can grab them and pull them out.

There is no harm in pulling one straight out of springloaded slot, but when you put it back in, it pops out when you seat it, so you have to push it in again.
