No voice call while data is on

Been missing calls, found out that all my calls getting foward to voicemail
when ever my data is running, ie on web or listening to internet radio.
No problem with WiFi.

Isn't data supposed to get cut off when an incoming call is
coming in? Is there a setting I missed or is this how the Captivate work?
Starting to not like this phone anymore.

As AT&T has advertised in the past, you can do simultaneous data and voice while on a 3G connection. You should at least be getting notified when a call comes in though. I would check my settings for you but my Galaxy S is CDMA.

Just to put more infos out there, I'm on Tmobile network and working with EDGE. Still all my other phones with EDGE will cut data and let me answer my phone. I think this phone is not such a "smart" phone after all.
There's a few other peoples with this problems on other android devices but they solved it by turning DDTM off. I don't see that options in the Captivate.

Also when this happened, it goes to voice mail and no notifications of "Missed call"

Does anyone know if the Captivate have DDTM and if so how can we go about turning it off.
