Default Tegra 2 > Hummingbird by a lot apparently

Well there you have it folks, the Galaxy S has been knocked off it's pedestal in CPU and GPU performance.

If you're like me and picked this phone for it's 3D gaming prowess, this matters a lot. I have 1.5 years before my 2-year contract with AT&T is up . I'm thinking our tile-based GPUs may miss out on games optimized for Tegra 2. We'll see...

Phones will have it soon, and nvidia is no slouch. That's technology, the latest is only greatest for a little while.....from my research, the humming bird and omap a8 are the same, and then there is the snapdragon....they are all getting knocked down lol! Being a tech lover, I am happy about it. The orion 2 intrests me too. It is all good, nothing to get uptight about.

Yea this tech should really kick start the GPU performance race on handhelds. I can't wait to see what TI, Samsung/Intrinsity, and Qualcomm can do to compete.
