Default Quick question about Ti Backup

Ok, so this weekend I intend to exchange my Captivate (that keeps shutting down) for a new one.

If I backup my apps with Ti Backup, will I be able to reinstall them when I get a new phone? It's going to be another Captivate, but will a different IMEI or some other type of serial prevent me from reinstalling my apps?

The hard part will be rooting your new one. Which is not that hard .

I believe you will need to copy the TiBu folder from your SD card root to your computer because TibU backs up to your phone. It is not like the market where your paid apps are saved.

Yeah, I copied it over from the internal SD to my external SD.
